Q: How long has the ScreenLogger product been on the market?
A: Our first version has been released in January
2006. Since then, we have had hundreds of ScreenLogger servers installed which records
thousands of workstations 24/7 in several continents.
Q: Does the screen recording interfere with workstation desktop operation?
A: Not at all. The ScreenLogger Workstation software
runs in the background and does not interfere with desktop operations at all.
Q: How many software modules are involved?
A: A ScreenLogger system consists of 4 modules: The
Workstation software that runs on each PC to be recorded, the Server software that
receives the streaming video data from the Workstations and stores it, the Configurator
management software to configure and administrate the system, and lastly the Screen
Player software which presents the screen recordings as a media player for any Workstation
or agent.
Q: How many Workstations can I record on a ScreenLogger system.
A: Up to 500. If you need to record more, then simply
deploy another ScreenLogger system.
Q: Can I search screen recordings for selected software applications?
A: Absolutely! For example, you can narrow your search
criteria to see when Joe Johnson used his Customer Relations Management software
yesterday morning between 10:00 & 10:30.
